My name is Becky, and I have had the privilege of breeding Cavalier King Charles Spaniels for over 7 years.
I believe all Cavalier King Charles puppies and dogs should be tested for breed-related health issues. I also feel it is important to DNA test for possible hereditary problems susceptible to the Cavalier King Charles breed.
I've placed over 75 puppies with their forever families. I can proudly say I have only had one puppy that had a serious health issue. I am always receiving pictures from my forever families thanking me and telling me just how much they love their baby and what a wonderful addition to their family he/she has made. It is not uncommon for a family to contact me a year or two later requesting a second puppy. You can rest assured that when your new puppy leaves my care, he/she will be up to date with shots, deworming, and will be microchipped. All puppies are examined by my vet before leaving for their forever homes. All vaccinations are done at the vet clinic.
Families will receive a copy of the results of that visit as well as the shot record.
Your puppy will have begun potty training and socialization with other dogs and young children. I also try to desensitize your baby to several household sounds and movements that often cause dogs to be fearful or bark, such as thunder, doorbell, vacuum cleaner, and other general sounds and movements throughout the home.
